Check out some favorite spots in the area of Mindspace Williamsburg.
Upstate Stock
This store is a hidden gem on the border of Williamsburg and Greenpoint. It’s not your usual shopping stop, as Upstate Stock has tons of goodies from local vendors, and makes its own clothes and home goods. It’s filled with unique snacks, and also includes a cafe with some of the best drinks I’ve had in NYC; I dream about their ‘Coconut Honey Matcha’.

McCarren Park
McCarren is my go-to park when I’m in Brooklyn. It’s perfect for picnics, as well as boasts easy access to eating out at nearby great restaurants and bars. My friends and I go there in the summer to bask in the sun, drink wine, and kick around a soccer ball. The park even hosts a summer movie series.

Beacon’s Closet
Come here, just a few blocks away from Mindspace Williamsburg, for amazing vintage finds in Brooklyn. Sometimes we all just need a shopping break, and Beacon’s Closet always delivers. I got my favorite boots here.

Taqueria Ramirez
You can find Mexico City street style tacos at Taqueria Ramirez. There’s always a line at this popular lunch spot but it moves fast. Pick your taco combo and enjoy it on the peaceful streets of Greenpoint. My favorite taco is the pastor.

Domino Park
Domino Park is located at the site of an old sugar refinery, whose activity peaked in 1919. It’s nice to walk along the water of the East River and to enjoy the Manhattan skyline. The old factory building’s façade is undergoing restoration, and it’s going to include an amazing glass building within the brick building. I’m very excited to see the final result.
